I have the same outfit in newborn and 6-9 months. I took her home in this outfit. I was trying to show how much she has grown since birth.

In Nona Bellomo's crib! Naked woman!

Hi everyone. It has been about 2 weeks since my last entry. Let's see...I think I need to update you with some stats. At her 6 month Dr. visit on July 1st, she weighed in at 18 pounds 10 ounces and is 26 inches long! I believe it is about 75 %ile for height and 95th for weight! She really keeps chugging along here. Her milestones include: she now moves things from one hand to the other. She is so much stronger in general. Everything and anything in reach is fair game and those little hands sure are fast. I must move everything far away when I sit with her at a table. She doesn't like when you hold her hands to do things, like make her clap, for example. She'll pull them out of your hands, like, "Get off of me mom, I want to do my own thing!" She really gets upset now if she left alone in a room. I must distract her with something and run! lol. She loves to be held. Ah, such the life. Don't you wish you appreciated it more when you were a baby now?! ha ha. We started meats on July 4th. She loves chicken and now has started on Turkey. She does not like peas! She makes the funniest face and gags every now and then. I disguise it with sweet potatoes of whatever to get her to eat it. From my readings, you must be persistent and patient with foods they do not take to, because with time, they eventually will. So, I will persevere! She can support her weight on her legs if I hold her up. She loves this and makes that proud face like "look at me mom!" She is sleeping so much better. She goes in about 8ish and gets up around 5am for a bottle and will go back to sleep until about 7. She is in number 3 diapers now. We started them pretty much at her 6th month birthday. I was trying to use the rest of my number 2's and they were bursting at the seams! lol I need to pack up her 3-6 month duds that are still in her drawer. I have had no time. She is well into 6-9 months and by the way she is growing, I do believe she will be in 9-12 soon. She still talks all the time, and oh yes, she LOVES to squeal! She started doing this high pitched, ear piercing scream around July 4th. She is so proud of how loud she can get and just keeps doing it more. It's very cute actually. When I get her to laugh, it is so hearty now, it comes straight from her belly and it the best thing ever. I love making her laugh of course. She spent July 4th in Wildwood. We stayed there that weekend and my parents came as well. They met us down there on the 5th. They left Monday and we stayed until Tuesday. We dropped her at my mother's on the way back and she stayed the night at my parents while Giacomo and I went back to Morristown. I had my hair cut, colored, etc. the next day and picked her up after. It was just a week of a great deal of driving. Giacomo traveled Wed. through Friday. I was the taxi driver for the week and Mia sure was a Gypsy. She stayed at my mother's Tues and Wed night and then at my in laws on Thurs. night because I worked on Friday and Giacomo was not around to help me bring her to my in laws, so dropping her off at night is much better. Mia really saw the beach for the first time. She went in Cape Cod, but it was really the bay. She saw waves for the first time this past Monday, July 7th. We sat her in the sand too! She was mesmerized by its texture. I didn't bring my camera..yes, one of the first times! I was frustrated and will just have to keep moment as a memory only! :( We went to my friend Dina's house yesterday for a pool/bbq day. They have and in ground pool and we brought Mia in of course. It was her first time in a big pool. We put her in this tube we bought, but she was a bit scared and cried. Giacomo then held her for a while and when we tried again, she was calmer and enjoyed it.
I think this is about all for now. I have to work tomorrow, so I am going to get going. I am posting pics which include the last 2 weeks. Hope you enjoy them.
Talk to you all soon.
